Our sauna cushion covers are made from TENCEL® fabric. TENCEL is an eco-friendly fabric of botanic origin (extracted from wood) that is more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk, and cooler than linen. Unlike other fabrics that can not be used in a sauna because of the risk of mold and mildew, bacteria growth is virtually impossible with KLAFS sauna pillows and cushions. The fabric is also extremely heat resistant.

Our sauna pillow inserts are constructed from a 3D spacer fabric. The double-knit fabric is manufactured using state-of-the-art weaving technology that helps ensure the cushion does not retain heat or moisture. Therefore, pillows and cushions stay cool and dry even in high sauna temperatures.
